Nongshim Shin Ramyun is one of Korea’s best-known instant noodles, famous for its distinctive spicy broth and satisfyingly chewy noodles. The soup combines bold chilli heat with rich savoury flavour, garlic, mushroom and warming spices, creating a deep and comforting bowl with plenty of character.

The thick and springy noodles hold their texture well in the hot broth, while pieces of vegetables and mushroom add extra flavour and bite. The combination of heat, savouriness and chewy noodles has made Shin Ramyun a favourite far beyond Korea.

For an even more satisfying experience, add a soft-boiled egg, sliced spring onion, mushrooms, pak choi, dumplings or your favourite protein.

1. Add noodles and contents of the sachets into 550ml of boiling water.
2. Cook for 4 ½ minutes.
3. Stir well and serve.
