Nissin Demae Iccho Sesame Oil Flavour Instant Noodles combine satisfyingly springy noodles with a light yet deeply savoury Japanese-style soya sauce broth. Aromatic notes of garlic, onion and spices give the soup extra depth, while a separate sachet of sesame oil adds the distinctive fragrance and rich, nutty finish for which this classic flavour is known.

For an even more satisfying bowl, add sliced chashu-style pork, a soft-boiled egg, spring onions, bamboo shoots or nori. Alternatively, enjoy it Hong Kong-style with a fried egg and slices of luncheon meat for a simple and comforting meal.

First launched in Japan in 1968, Nissin Demae Iccho has since become one of Hong Kong’s most familiar and much-loved instant noodle brands. We selected this Hong Kong-made version because it delivers the familiar flavour and noodle texture we know and personally enjoy more than the local version commonly found in major UK supermarkets.

Avoid direct sunlight, store in a cool dry place.

Preparation Suggestions

Add noodles into 500ml of boiling water and cook for 3 minutes.
Add soup base into bowl in advance.
Remove from heat.
Pour hot water into bowl to melt soup base, then add noodles and stir.
Finally, add seasoning oil and serve.
